NARRATIVE
The treatment for the interviews is inspired in the
Latin-American literary tradition and aims to explore post-colonial ways of
representation by putting at the same level the diverse voices of the band
members, ecuadorian artisans and researchers from both countries not to make a point
but to create a feeling similar to what one experiences when reading magical
realism.

MOBILE SOUND STUDIO
The big difference between commercial music and traditional ethnic music has to do with it’s relationships with the environment. Therefore, the use of a mobile studio will allow as to have commercial quality music without separating the musicians from their natural environment.

The idea is to insert the documentary in (artistic)
processes that go beyond film-making. The director’s mission is to use the
documentary language as a way to serve artists, who eventually become
co-directors in a way; to offer them a platform for self-reflection and joint
